Nobuyoshi Tamura. A student of O'Sensei started Aikido at the Hombu in 1953.
He was sent to France in 1964 as Aiki-kai representative, taking over from Tadashi Abbe Sensei.
Tamura Sensei is still in this role and is perhaps the most influential instructor in Europe. He currently holds the rank of 8th Dan Shihan.
